Meet Our Administrative Team
Mr. Scott Bennett: Principal
Mr. Bennett brings a wealth of experience and a strong commitment to educational excellence, making him an outstanding addition to the Marysville community.
Mr. Bennett joins Marysville Schools from Reynoldsburg High School, where he has served as Principal since June 2021. During his tenure, he managed two campuses with approximately 2,500 students, overseeing a team of two principals, six assistant principals, and about 120 teachers. His leadership was instrumental in transitioning the high school from five academies to a unified school on two campuses and designing and implementing 13 pathways for student success.
Prior to his role at Reynoldsburg High School, Mr. Bennett was the Principal of the eSTEM Early College Academy, which Newsweek recognized as one of the top 500 schools in the nation in 2015. Under his leadership, the academy won the Momentum Award from the Ohio Department of Education in the 2018-2019 school year. His efforts also included forming a cohesive K-12 STEM pipeline and securing substantial partnerships with local businesses and higher education institutions.
Mr. Bennett holds a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Walden University and a Master of Education in Life Science from The Ohio State University. His dedication to student achievement and his vision for integrating STEM education into the curriculum have been consistently recognized at bot the state and national levels.
Lisa Nemeth: Assistant Principal
Mrs. Nemeth began teaching middle school in Marysville Schools in 2006. She spent over a decade devoted to the education of middle level students at Bunsold Middle School. In 2021, she served as an instructional coach for the STEM Early College High School. The following year, Mrs. Nemeth was named the assistant principal at ECHS.
Mrs. Nemeth believes in the power of STEM education and the importance of students exploring future pathways during their high school experience.
